So here she drowns, wrapped in the shroud that should have been her wedding veil, snared by the weeds that should have been her garland. The death of girl innocence. Fair Ophelia, caressed by those who overthrew you and pulled you down, betrayed by those you sought to embrace. The original piece is 4 inches x 4 inches in size. It is a mixed-media piece that incorporates my original photography, acrylic paint, watercolour, beeswax, silk, heat branding, and etching. The original poem above will be written on the back of your piece.
Prints come in a range of sizes from the original 4 inches x 4 inches up to 8 inches x 8 inches. Each piece is incredibly intricate and ordering an enlarged art print allows you see all the minute details up close. Additionally, you can choose which medium you would like to have your art printed on. If you would like to keep as close as possible to the original, I recommend the heavyweight cotton rag. Each image is cropped to include a small mat of white around the edge (and, if possible, the title and my signature along the bottom edge), so the printed dimensions of the piece you receive is slightly larger than the size indicated. The image size, however, is the same.
