Joyous New Life of Spring

My son was born this week.

When I left for the hospital, the magnolia tree outside my daughter’s room was still in tightly wrapped fuzzy buds. When I arrived home three days later, it was stretching out fuchsia pink blooms.

It’s a beautiful day.
